Greetings & Welcome!

Well... A Tesla is a far cry from a van, and I can't help but wonder your motives are.  Is this a promotional gimmick, an ego trip or ???

Anybody can live or sleep in their car...  The fact that it's a Tesla doesn't make it any better or  worse than anybody else's car, what it does make it is a lot more expensive.  Spending that much money to become homeless doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

The adventure and experience isn't about how much you can spend on a vehicle, or the conversion of it.  It's about comfort, convenience, reliability, and practicality.  It's about not losing money when you decide to sell it.  I can't imagine traveling the country constantly having to search for places to plug in.

My under $1500 van including the conversion, makes a far better home than any car ever could.  I have an extremely comfy bed, sinks, stove, and icebox, my own toilet & shower, nearly unlimited power, and both heat and air conditioning at will.  I also have a swivel rocker recliner to lounge in.

Younger people seem to get caught up with ego, money, and power issues, or they strive to become deadbeats rather than earn their own way through life.  As we get older, comfort and convenience become much more important.  Even though my van is well over 35 years old, and not very pretty, it makes a very comfortable and reliable home on wheels, and has for the 10+ years I've owned it.  For the price I paid, and the amount of time it has been my home, it has saved me a lot of money.

When it comes to adventure, my van can take me many more places than a Tesla can endure, and all without losing any value.  Additionally nothing will be lost due to depreciation.  While your Tesla might attract thieves, my van doesn't scream money, expensive accessories, or expensive contents.  A new Class B could easily cost more than your Tesla, but it would be a more comfortable home, and wouldn't scream money as loudly, or attract as much attention.   I think you're trying to attract attention to yourself, and I think you'll succeed at that, whether that turns out to be a good thing, only time will tell.

I wish you well, and hope you accommplish your goals, but if living on wheels is important to you, there are far better options than a Tesla.

Cheers!
Smiles are extremely contagious,
Pass them on!!!
