Title: Manchester Introduction
Post by: Joe Away on June 26, 2019, 03:55:27 PM
Hi all!

Manchester van hunter here, on the lookout for a van to convert into a camper. Looking at either a LWB Sprinter, or an LDV 17-seater minibus. Happy to take suggestions on an alternative though! I did consider an ex-ambulance but was put off by the prospect of having to get it re-weighed/get a new license. Any thoughts?

After several years of living abroad, we're settled back in the UK now, and with baby Away 1 on the way, we'd love a camper so we can explore the UK and Europe easily. Always happy to hear suggestions from more experienced folk, and would love to know if there are any meet-ups in the North-West. Take it easy all!

Greetings and Welcome!

As an experienced nomad, the more windows the better, and if they're opening windows, thats even better yet.

Cheers!

Cheers Dan! Yeh I am leaning towards an LDV minibus to be honest. A bit shorter than a sprinter, but the windows look worth it!
