Hi everyone
My name it's Rob; I've had a 1986 Talbot Express 2L petrol Autosleeper van conversion for about 5 years. Although I don't live full time in the van, I enjoy wild camping. I live in NE Scotland.
I've been following Mike and van from even before he set off.
Keep up the good work Mike.
Rob

Hello vagabonds (or should that be "vanabonds"? :P)

My name's Patti, I live in Long Beach, California, USA.  I don't live in a van/camper, don't have any plans to do so, but I like reading about and seeing Mike's adventures - I guess it would be considered "living vicariously"..

I can't say that I know of every square mile of California, but I'm pretty sure there's no such thing as just finding a spot somewhere remote and making yourself at home (well, not without negative consequences), so it's pretty interesting seeing how things are in Europe...

Hey Rob, i plan on taking to Scotland as the temps rise and my van nears completion - any places i should definitely see, or just go for it?

Mike, good job on the forum - things are coming together nicely.

Thanks all - Stephen.

Hi Stephen
Lots to see and do north of the border. The west coast should not be missed. I do a lot of wild camping in the North East of Scotland, some great places there. What is the base vehicle for your van?
Rob

Hi Patti
Welcome. I've never been to the States but please don't hold that against me :-) The furthest west I've been is Nova Scotia
