Post by: Camper_Dan on May 30, 2018, 11:31:00 PM
Greetings Everyone!

I just got invited to a Vanlife Gathering at Grand Teton Valley, in Victor Idaho on June 15-17, 2018, and asked to spread the word.

More info and tickets can be found at:

http://www.vanlife.com.au/vanlife-gatherings/vanlife-gathering-grand-teton-valley (http://www.vanlife.com.au/vanlife-gatherings/vanlife-gathering-grand-teton-valley)

I don't know yet whether I'll be able to make it or not, and I have not attended one of these particular ones yet, I think this a first for this one.

Anybody that does attend, please grace us with some pictures and a report!

Cheers!

Dan

Hello
I wish I could attend this, it sounds like fun. It's just too expensive for me at this time. Maybe next year if it happens again.
Thanks for posting it Camper_Dan

Cheers

Greetings!

I thought the prices were ridiculously high on that one myself.  Especially $28 for a BBQ...

Since then, I see that a vegatarian BBQ is now free, and the other dinner is a potluck, oh yeah free beer.  Much better, although I have to mention, most of the rallies I've attended, all of the food was free, and the drinks too, including soft drinks, not just beer.

I have attended rallies where you need to pay for your own campsite, or pay for your own permit on public lands, but most seem to be on a group deal, and totally free for the attendee's.  It is very easy to come up with tons of sponsers who will donate food, goods, services, or money.  Most of these rallies, although free, generate huge amounts of money for the clubs or the organizers hosting them.

Cheers!
