Would You Rent Your Van Out?
« on: April 12, 2017, 06:05:00 PM »
Hey everyone,

I have been looking to rent the van life because, A) I have cold feet when it comes to jumping into a complete change of life B) I want to give it a try C) Vans are so much better than campers! The problem is, I cannot find any sweet vans to rent online. Makes me wonder why? So I started a poll. Thanks, Jeremy from Texas

Hey Jeremy,

I voted No way, that's my baby!!!

The reason being, as a self conversion builder it really is a labour of love (and blood, sweat and tears lol).. I wouldn't like to rent it out and get it back trashed (now I'm not saying that it would come back like that every time, but if it came back wrecked then I would be absolutely devasted!). So for me it's not worth the risk.

You might have checked this out if you've been looking but maybe it could be a option?

Good Luck

I wouldn't rent it out but I am planning on letting family and friends use it.

If they break it, they can fix it and if its terminal they can help me strip it out. Even with many hours of sweat and splinters it's just a thing, things can always be replaced.

I would just Google "Camper Van Rental" and go from there.

This may even give you multiple choices in your area.  They may all be different, and layout is everything for a comfortable time.
