Title: Advice
Post by: Rexey129 on September 15, 2018, 05:52:30 PM
Hi, I have a van conversion, but wish to change the layout.  At present it has bonded windows all down each sides of the van.  I want to board some of these up, but am worried about condensation if I Just cover them.  Any ideas, how I can do this.  (thought of spraying foam on them, before boarding up, but not sure if this will work)  Thanks in advance.

Greetings  & Welcome!

You are absolutely correct worrying about condensation.  Nothing can stop it or prevent it, either on the skin or on the windows.  The manufacturers handle this problem, by ventilating clear to the skin, or by wicking the moisture to the interior where it can be evaporated out.  I know of no other schemes that actually work.

Cheers!
