Title: I'm in Spain!
Post by: Claude on October 11, 2015, 08:31:34 PM
Hello! So, I've posted to the forum a few times, talked about my ideas of travelling before I left, and I've been on the road three weeks now. I am currently posting this with a proper English girl sunburn from a place near tarragona in Spain, drinking a gin and tonic in a beach bar. So far we have mostly stayed in aires, with the odd campsite to get a shower - no onboard shower for me! Does anyone know of any good van sites down here? Anywhere to meet new people? So far it's been a lot of older motorhome people who aren't so sociable and we would love to meet some new people. Any help is appreciated!! If anyone has Instagram and is interested we are in there - postcardsfromclaude . Thanks and hi from Spain!!!!!!  Also if anyone has any questions I'm happy to answer either here or at postcardsfromclaude@gmail.com

Hi Claude! I'd be interested in hearing about your travels, do you have a mailing list? Are you travelling alone?

I'm travelling in Spain as well, currently near san sebastian. Having trouble finding aires or free stopovers. Anyone tips or a site where to find them? going down to Madrid tomorrow.

Try these sites for places to stop

http://www.furgovw.org/mapa_furgoperfecto/

http://www.campercontact.com/en/

Campercontact has a great app with an opt in price of a few quid which you can then download and view the maps off line
