Common Room / Hi Everyone

I am looking to buy a Luton Van or a Horse Truck, to convert into a family home, for myself, my wife, our son (when he's home from Uni) and a Collie Cross dog.
I am hoping to buy this by the end of 2017, and convert and start living in it by the end of 2018.

I have started a scrapbook, with ideas, costs, what we need, websites, everything really.
So anything you could think of that I may need to include, let me know, so I research it and add it in :)

Me and my wife, feel it's time to leave our "bricks and mortar" home, as we just don't feel that we belong there anymore. We love the outdoors, and being somewhere peaceful.

Our long-term aim, is to have a plot of land, with a few outbuildings on, to use as garages (for our vast collection of classic cars), a workshop for my wife to do metal work projects (she loves welding) and a studio for myself (to do my glass painting and practise my singing).
As it would have existing outbuildings, that would hopefully mean that it would have at least running water there.
With this in mind, we then hope to open up the land for van dwellers to come and pitch up for stopover/break.

The only thing that we are being held up by, is what to do as an income, as I currently work in IT at my local hospital, whilst my wife works an hour and a half away, as a shop manager for a charity shop. We both would like to work together, but also have our own space to develop. So again, any ideas, we would be grateful to hear them.

Well, think that's it for now, I look forward to seeing your suggestions, and in return I hope I have some suggestions for you too :D
