Can anyone tell me what the weight of this van is, would it be in the 3500 - 7500 kg range?   It is shown as:   Taxation Class -PLG;   Body type -Motor Caravan    in the Reg Document.  Would this be classed as a medium sized vehicle under C1 for driving licence purposes?  Many thanks

I am off for a couple of months this Summer travelling mostly in Germany/Austria/Switzerland,  can anyone please let me know if there are any problems with using our Gas bottles/connectors.  I have the orange bottles in mine.

I would appreciate some advice on how to disable to central locking function for the sliding door and rear doors on my Ford Transit campervan.    I wish to do this for security reasons, so that the rear doors and side door remain locked when I unlock the drivers side to get in.   Many thanks, Antje

 :)Hi Mike,   great to have this new forum - so, between Wild Camping for Motorhomes and this site,  just about any topic we might wish to discuss should be covered!    I was inspired by your story so far,  will be doing my own little adventure to the continent this Summer, starting in June for a couple of months or so, concentrating on the 'middle' bit, i.e. Switzerland, Austria and Germany.   I have a converted Ford Transit lwb which I hope will give me a few years good travelling!  All the best,  Antje.
