Mike, my mate has a big old bus Down in Gibraltar that he's looking to get shot off. No pics or info though I'm afraid. If I had to guess. I'd bet it was 70's or 80's. And probably tatty as all hell by now.

I should introduce myself too.

Hi.

I'm phill. 35 yrs old and living in Chester Uk

I found mikes van very early on and have been enjoying his exploits from then. I've been most impressed with his ingenuity, stuff like experimenting with gas jets on your heater etc. bravo.

I've owned a few vans in my time and love camping and travelling about, but I've got a different plan now.
I'm hoping within a few years to be on my own patch of land generating my own power and growing my own veg. Look up permaculture if anyone is interested. The path to get there might well include a temporary living structure, possibly a trailer based tiny house. This can be done on nice cheap agricultural land in Wales now due to a very cool policy called one planet Wales.

Anyhoo

Nice to meet you all.

Hi all.

I've been waiting for Mike to pull his figure out and get this forum going. But he's been too busy playing with dogs and kites.

Mike, you are an inspiration. Keep on keepin' on.

Oh. Couple of things.

The registering by Facebook link didn't work for me I got a message something like "the owner has not correctly configured this feature" or something.
Also the text verification thing is case sensitive, well I think it is. I failed it the first time anyway.
