Hello guys!

I recently started a thread here on this forum to ask a question about heating solutions. After that question was answered I asked an other, and I realize that I'm probably going to have a ton more question. I was also asked to "keep us posted" so I'm starting this new thread for two reasons. To ask a bunch more questions, and to post some pictures and updates about the conversion process.

So question time:
1. How do I post pictures saved locally on my computer to this forum?

2. I'm currently working on sound insulation, and only in the cargo hold for now (I'll do the driving compartment later). My main focus is to reduce noise while driving, and I'm not too worried about insulating the "living space". My plan is to put some anti-vibration material on 25% of the walls (see link the the bottom) and maybe spray a thin layer of foam on the walls as-well. Is this a good plan? any advice? Is it even necessary with the anti-vibration and/or foam?

Foam: http://www.biltema.no/no/Bygg/Kjemikalier/Fugeskum/Fugeskum-2000021448/

Once I figure out how to post pictures I'll post some pictures of the van and do a introduction of my Hippe Gunn ;-)

Greetings!

Near as I can tell, they don't actually host images here, so you have to upload them to someplace like http://imgur.com then you can hit the insert picture button in the editor here, and paste the url from imgur in between the img tags that will create.

I  really couldn't make out the links you posted, because the language they're using isn't one this dumb American understands, and I couldn't find a link to translate it into English...

What many people seem to use for the sound deadening is those puzzle foam mats for kids, or the anti-fatigue mats from the big box hardware stores.

I have heard of big rust and mold issues from using spray foam, but I don't have any first hand experience with it myself.

Hope this helps,

Cheers!
Smiles are extremely contagious,
Pass them on!!!
