Title: Bean bag insulation
Post by: BanjoRyan on October 06, 2016, 10:52:49 PM
Hello,

I wonder if anyone can help?  I have an ex network rail LWB transit, which has had a Clarkson fit out with ply lining.  I'd like to insulate behind the panels with bean bag foam, but I have two concerns.  Firstly I've read about the problem of insulating up to the electric cables, even though they're 12v would this be a problem either because of heat or because of corrosion / reactions to the materials?  Also, the Eresbracher heater is positioned next to the wall which is around 5mm thick.  Would the heat build up be an issue to the in sulation behind?

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
