Hi all!

Does anyone have experience getting parts for european van models in america? How expensive could it be if I breakdown in a european van vs one thats popular in the USA. I was thinking if its an older model, the parts might not be as expensive as the newer models, but i'm not sure how available they would be over there??

I suspect you may have to order parts from overseas.  In the case of a breakdown, that could be the absolute pits.  If you're not planning on doing everything yourself, finding mechanics could also be a huge problem.

I would at least check to see if parts are shippable to the the US or Canada.  Sometimes there are country restrictions on shipping too.
