Hi, currently on my first van project! Help needed with windows. Do I need to fit the u channel rubber to the inside or outside layer on metal before sealing the window? When I got it on the outside layer there was a gap between the van and the window. Fitting it to the inside makes me worried that the metal will scratch the glass. Any tips or ideas? Thanks

Just guessing I would say you have the wrong gaskets for the van.
