Title: Getting power from the van battery
Post by: Pugwash on September 08, 2015, 01:08:01 PM
I've got a voltage-sensing split charge relay so I just need a permanent live from the battery.
What's usually the most efficient route from the engine bay to the load area please? Should I just run this through the engine bulkhead on a grommeted hole and under the front carpet or is there a better solution?

It's an LDV Maxus with 3 seats in the front, no drive shaft tunnel as it's front wheel drive.

If it looks like your shortest route, that will have to be it.
Gotta Transit and my VB is under my seat, just had to run it to the passenger seat, so no probs.

Sorted. I spotted a large grommet that all the cabling runs through from the fuse box to the battery. I fed my wire through this and inside a bit of conduit under my front mats.
