Hi Mike,

I have a High Top Convoy conversion similar to yourself. I've noticed on your photo's that you have a spare wheel carrier mounted on the underside of your van. I believe that this was only standard on the tippers and minibuses. Panel vans like ours had the spare wheel bolted inside the rear doors.

I have bought a spare wheel carrier off a tipper and am having trouble locating the best area for mounting it. I am thinking that I will have to make some holes in the chassis for mounting. can you confirm that this is the case? did you mount yours yourself or was it bought like that?

I have tried zooming in on some of your photo's where the wheel carrier is visible, but am at a loss as to the best way of attaching it.

A photo would be hugely appreciated, but just some general advice would be good.
