Title: Custom stainless steel sink
Post by: peeela on September 15, 2017, 04:07:22 AM
I've designed a custom stainless steel sink. Like all good van features it has at least three uses.

1200mm x 900mm x 120mm

Has anyone had any experience with welding and finishing a sink?

I want to make it non-slip, so was thinking some sort of rubberised paint like PlastiDip, but not sure how well that might go with cleaning mould etc.

Just a post to start some thoughts.

For what it's worth, after having several rigs with built in sinks, I now use dollar store plastic dishpans for my sinks.  I have no plumbing to freeze, and I like them because I can use them both indoors and outdoors.  They also sometimes come in handy for other uses as well.
