HELP

As you all know, starting at the begining here...

Its either Recycled plastic bottles or silverbacked high pu insulation, then vapour barrier, then of course ply....

But what did you use and why?

Going to think about running a few wires/gas/water first, not sure if any, but looking into it...

Sooo what did you use and how did you start???

Hi

Just thought would throw it out there.  So PE has 3 seats at the front, brilliant for doggos, but nto for me changing gear or looking out side mirror.  Any ides how to make sure doggos are safe on long camping journeys.

Am sure someone has done this?  Or do I need to make something to keep them safe in the back when driving?  Directly teh back is like a tin can. Nothing there at all.. YET..

Had a hammock inthe back of our VW, was brilliant but not for the front of a vehical.  Please help.

Thanks in advance.

Ok, so lets say have the panels and insulation done!  (Don't, not even ordered them yet  ::) )

What's next? Would that be a shelving unit, have seen some brilliant ones to purchase, as not the correct materials, yet, or a bed... Not abundant with cash, so needs to be only one thing at a time...  Then could still try and travel.  No idea what am doing either!

As can sleep on the floor with Inka and Harvey, each side keeping me warm.  ;D but seriously need to get somewhere to put shopping and such, used to use the footwell and boot, now have a mass tin can but no place to keep any shopping secure!  It ends up under the bloody peddles, seriously just starting with gears again done need that too!!!!    :'(

Again, ideas please.. So maybe a bed, that can use half as storage and the other half for doggos sleep space?  Do you know anyone who does this?  Am only 5,2 so bed will be easy.  Not looking for comfort just yet, just basics along with loads of ideas.

Van Conversion / Peugeot Expert 2016

Boo, am back....

Where to start, any ideas of the best place to get panels (and sizes), live in Bristol UK.  Have seen can get them ready cut for my PE, seen someone on here knows someone in Bristol... But cant find it :'(

Then best way to add insulation, your ideas mean a lot, as am sure you all have your different ways and reasons why.  Did you use Styrofoam?

Also what is the best air vent in your opinion and why?  Looking at getting a silver windshield too... Any options on whats the best one, or does this not really matter for this?

Thank you.

And so it begins...

New here, so please be nice....

Sorry in advance, so loquacious and a touch typist is a disaster in the making...

Just part exchanged my VW Passat CC for a Peugeot Expert (PE) basic, no parking sensors, no sat nav, no Bluetooth, so all in all a good trade in, never done anything like this before, ever, but very pleased.

Not driven gears in years about a decade, work in care so drive every day, really need this to work so can take doggos out all over the UK 4 daysnat a time every month, then can change into a pixie and make happy memories with them.

Thinking of a youtube account so documenting every part of our journey and also staying safe.  Doggos have a IG account just made, so can use as their photo diary if you will....  Just looking for as much guidance as possbile.  NO idea what am doing, but do enjoy a challenge and excited to see the outcome.

It is not even a week and I am actually a white van driver, I am driving an empty can and it is bloody freezing too...

Thanks for reading and looking forward to hearing from you all with your tips and such!!
