What would you do or what do you do vandog? You cant just take away enough for your long trips so you earning on the road? I can do without some luxuries that does not bother me but what about emergencies and long term breakdown cover and even insurance, Health and van?

Cheers. The idea is convert cheap. £1000 should do it. If teh bus gets us down to Lake Como, Few days in Austria then up to Como then next year i will strip it out and make a bit more up market. Saying that if the interior works well for us then i may just leave it and just tweak as we go. Got the wood to start building the furniture yesterday so free today and may get on with that today.

Hi Dodge sorry for the late response. Forum is not as busy as i would have thought so kind of forgot about it. Aye the Bus, slowly coming on but today i stuck in the 240v wiring and soon to start building furniture. Here is a blog i am doing. Hope its of help to other building a van on a budget.
