Title: Advice needed on converting a roller shutter
Post by: Maizeymid on January 20, 2017, 04:22:54 PM
The back room of our lorry has been a workshop for the last six years but now we want to change it into a bedroom for our two children. My hope is that someone on here may have experience with converting a roller shutter into a wall on there own vehicle and might be able to provide me with some pointers? My initial idea was to use silicone on the outside to seal any gaps and stop the ingress of water. I then plan to attach a stud wall to the inside of the shutter with a double layer of insulation in between. If you are practically minded then please feel free to chip in with suggestions or criticisms! Many thanks for any advice I might get, Joe.
