I know people can be quote protective of these but if anyone wants to share. .

I'll start.  northern Spain on a river by a small abandonned church next to the sea.  Rio Bedon.

I know exactly where that spot is. The secrets out now!  ;D

Yeah we been there, shhh! Must keep it quiet, will be like a campsite soon.

Mike

This is a fun debate, do we share our secret spots between us vanners or keep them to ourselves?

Did everyone see the wildcamping gallery on the blog? I put down the coordinates of each one. I say share :-)

Yeah Mike and you got a bit of stick, on an opposing Forum, ha, hum. As I said, why not it's only peeps you know and if they are treated with respect share away.
The Dutch have got it down to a fine art, there's even a folder you can download.

If any of you are visiting west Cornwall contact me with a private message and I'll send you a link to a Google map I created ages ago.

On this map, I detail exactly where each wild camping location is, most of which are either out in the countryside or have fantastic ocean views. All but one location is free (about 45-50) in total.

I do normally ask for a donation for this, as I know this will save you a small fortune in diesel costs - typically a tenner is good via Paypal to receive the link.

I've also added detail to each location for example: nearby facilities (pub or toilets), whether the ground is sloping or level, how many vans you can get into each spot, distance from the beach etc;.

Let me know if this would help any of you out if you're down this way this spring or summer.

I'm strictly a US guy. In most smaller cities and towns, you can locate a church that will let you sleep in their parking lot, as long as you're somewhere else for the day. College libraries make great places to hang out.  Take some classes and you can get 13k of loans per year, and  5k of grants per year, for  5 years.  You can live on your food stamps and sales of blood plasma, with some day labor and craiglist gigs. that 60k of loans can set you up for life, if you know what to do with it

Just out of morbid curiosity...what is a 'strictly US guy'?

So what exactly is wrong with you? Pray do elaborate. Don't tell me, you were sunning yourself naked in the sun in France and got your cock caught in the door when you slammed it shut cos you were pissed again.  ;D
