Seville has to be one of the most stunning cities in Spain. And unlike many cities it’s easy to get to, and camp in a van.
In this post let’s explore a tiny slice of Seville and a visit of its world-famous Royal Alcázar. I’ll also share a good place to park and stay the night in your van…
Seville is here

We took a walk through streets

And through the parks

It’s got this rich and exotic feel

To the Plaza de España

The streets feel peaceful

But wait until you see this: The Royal Alcazar Palace

Inside is incredible

The only way I can describe it is… eye music!

Best accompanied with noise cancelling headphones and music

A representation of the underlying nature of nature ?

Harmony and resonance visually frozen in time ?

An understanding of nature’s infinite complexity and creativity ?

Everything Spirograph has been trying to tell us

You step outside and can’t help but make this connection

But that’s just what I think

To me, these designs make up some of the most interesting architecture and art humans have made. Not only for the technical complexity, but I think they demonstrate a deeper understanding of reality that isn’t so obvious in the western culture. Like music, geometric design is something all humans universally and instinctively relate to.
Other than these thoughts, I am fairly ignorant on the subject of geometry in architecture. And what was going on during the time these structures were made. Comment below 🙂
