Well the winter is slowly receding, but too slowly.

I suppose it depends on money but I wonder what your ideas are for the summer?

You might Google ”Subversive Festival’ in Zagreb – in May I think. So might anyone of course, which is why I mention it.

Here’s an idea – why not claw back the money that Westminster MPs have stolen from us to set up a Travel Scholarship for van people? The single condition being that they give some talks on van travel it if they go back to the UK.

Travellers to Greece could be open to the idea that with all the financial attacks on that country by bankers (who got off free and we pay for their greed) Greece is considering a new currency. However it may be that the new drachma will mean that living there should be cheaper .

While I’m on the topic, Bulgaria is very cheap for UK visitors or residents – roughly about half the cost. Importantly, garage repairs are cheaper.

Thanks a bunch Mike! I’m using Pagelines on WordPress myself. Somehow not getting it as fluid and accessible as yours. Anyway, great stuff, truly inspiring on all levels! Let me know if you ever want some cruising tunes and I’ll send you some over 😀 http://natemaingard.com

Cool, not heard of pagelines but looks pretty slick. One thing I’ve learnt is that paid stuff/code/plugins is/are always better

Hi Mike. I hope you’re well. Like so many others, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed following your adventures. I’m on my fourth camper van now, and currently selling everything I own – including my house – to get back on the road and live the only lifestyle I truly enjoy. Your info on van electrics has been very helpful (coffee donation on the way). Keep doing what you’re doing – you’ll have great memories that will last a lifetime.
    Best regards, Danny T5NWM
