I read about this nice beach on the island of Lefkada (See Lefkada post). The best beach on the Mediterranean I think it said.
I couldn’t believe the colour of the water. AND, no one was here. No deck chairs. No umbrellas. No ice-cream. No Germans saving the best spots with their towels (sorry).
So I went for a swim and camped here for the night…
The beach is Porto Katsiki on the south west of Lefkada, Greece. The really blue water is the Ionian Sea.
Down a steep road
Flashbacks to Romanian Carpathians. Maybe this was steeper
And down some steps
You can walk along the cliff bit to get a really amazing view of the coast and sunset
I have not edited the colour! It looks like this…
A golden ratio beach
So I did a blog post on it
From the best desk I’ve ever sat at
This is the island: see post
