Whilst travelling north through Sweden in the van we took a left turn into the rugged and wild Jämtland.
Here you’ll find Tännforsen, Sweden’s largest waterfall. Let’s have a look…

Tännforsen waterfall is here

Down the benddyyyy roads…

Follow this sign; ‘Tännforsen’

You’ll need a jacket… and a wide lens

Yes!

This is what excites me

Opening the shutter

Taking it in

Staying for sunset

Watching the light change

Different days different colours

This is a nice place to stop by in the van and explore, with many nice camping spots in this whole area.
The truth is, it takes a lot of driving in Sweden before you get to any dramatic nature, mountains, waterfalls (if that’s what you want). But also, Sweden isn’t Norway. Sweden has its own thing special thing going on; Calm, wild and modest.
